Sebastian Sommer was born in Syracuse, New York. He moved to New York City at an early age. He grew up on the upper east side of New York City. He graduated from Baruch College Campus High School. He attended New York University Tisch School Of The Arts. His short films have screened at the Guggenheim Museum, TriBeCa Film Festival, and Anthology Film Archives. He directed the feature length movie Dragon (2024). It was acquired for distribution by Fawesome. He quit film and became a video game designer.
